One-Year LLM Program

Faculty of Law, PES University  one-year LLM program in the following  three specialization:
  1. Constitutional Law & Administrative Law
  2. Corporate Law & Trade Law
  3. Intellectual Property Right & Trade Law
The One Year LLM Programme is made up of core and optional courses are drawn from one of the two specializations. The programme shall have 44 credits with the following components:
  1. Three Core mandatory courses (4 credits each)
  2. Six optional courses (4 credits each)
  3. Dissertation on a topic approved by the academic supervisor (4 Credits)
  4. Internship ( 2 credits)
  5. Teaching Practice ( 2 credits)
Duration

Full time TWELVE Months divided between TWO Semesters (Including holidays and vacations)

Eligibility

Applicants to the LLM programme at the Faculty of Law, PES University must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law from any college in India or abroad that is duly recognized under the law and by the regulatory authorities.  Students graduating in the year of commencement of LLM program can also apply, however they should submit their final certificate/mark sheet at the time of admission.

Entrance Examination

Admission will be based on the performance of one of the following entrance examinations (70% weightage)

  1. LSAT-India entrance test
  2. CLAT-PG Entrance Test for LLM admission
  3. PESSAT

Statement of purpose and Curriculum Vitae (30% weightage)
