The National seminar was inaugurated on the 29th of March 2019. Prof. Dr. J.S. Patil, Vice Chancellor, NLUJA Assam, was the Chief Guest of the event and Shri S.P. Shankar, Senior Advocate, High Court of Karnataka graced the occasion as the guest of honour.
A total of over 100 abstracts from students, practitioners, research scholars and academia were submitted for evaluation. Out of them, 65 abstracts were selected for full paper submission and presentation. These papers were presented over a course of two days between 29th and 30th of March.
The first day saw the discussion on Centre- State relations, Elections and Electoral Reforms, Organic Charter of Progressive Rights and Secularism vis-à-vis Religious Pluralism where in participants presented their papers before Mr. SP Shankar, Senior Advocate, High Court of Karnataka, Prof. Dinkar Gitte, Principal, KLE Society’s Law College, Mumbai and Dr. Aradhana S. Nair, Associate Professor, School of Law, Christ Deemed to be University.
